Dr. Wintermute, a Canadian board-certified Periodontist, is the practice owner and provides full-scope periodontics and surgical implant therapy at our practice.
Dr. Wintermute is a graduate of the University of British Columbia’s combined program of Master of Science Degree in Craniofacial Science and Diploma in Periodontics, and she now teaches at UBC Dentistry as a part-time Clinical Assistant Professor. Prior to specializing in Periodontics, she obtained her dental degree at Dalhousie in Halifax, NS, then worked as a general dentist for five years in the Calgary, AB, area. Dr. Wintermute prioritizes respect and empowerment of patients, by providing caring treatment based on up-to-date scientific evidence.
In her time outside of practice, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and trying new recipes, and hiking with her husband and puppy.
